RETREATS
Attending a yoga retreat is much more than a day, weekend or week away - although it can be just that! However I have seen how these immersive experiences can transform people. Time slow downs and we enjoy long movement practices that nurture our bodies, we tend to our breath in a way that feels like coming home, we eat healthy nourishing food that is more than fuel, it's love. And lastly, we play in nature. From forests to the sea, we reconnect to joy, awe and curiosity. All this has a lasting effect on our nervous systems and we leave a little more connected.
Take some time away just for you from your demanding schedules and join me for truly transformative experiences.
My retreats are for all levels - they are beginner friendly. I teach an all levels style of yoga that encourages one to find variations of poses and movements that work for them.

The Royal Cottage was built as a place to stay for Queen Victoria during her 1859 visit to the nearby Victorian water works which were to supply the growing city of Glasgow clean water. Today it is a comfortable highland escape complete with wood burning stoves, cosy bedrooms and a unbeatable views of the wild surroundings. A secluded and quiet environment that allows you to completely relax, but still only a distance from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling.
Getting there:
Royal Cottage can be found on google maps (search Royal Cottage, Stronachlacher) but as mobile reception can be bad in the area it is worth noting some directions as well. From Aberfoyle follow the B829 for 25 minutes along a winding road until you reach a T junction. Turn right for Stronachlacher then take the next right in under 100m where you will see a sign for Royal Cottage. The private road is gated, please leave the gate as you find it. Drive along the single-track road for 5 minutes until Royal Cottage is seen on your left.
Cancellations: If we, the hosts, need to cancel the retreat because of new covid restrictions, each guest will be refunded in full. If you, the guest need to cancel and full refund will be given ONLY if we can fill the space with another guest.
